Ryu Jun Yeol And Jeon Do Yeon Reveal Key Points Of Upcoming JTBC Drama 'Lost'

Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon, the lead actors of JTBC’s “Lost,” shared what viewers should look forward to in the drama’s premiere!

“Lost” is a drama about the stories of average people who realize they haven’t become anything throughout their lives and try their best to see the spotlight. Jeon Do Yeon stars as Boo Jung, a ghostwriter in her 40s who feels lost and as if she hasn’t been able to amount to anything. Ryu Jun Yeol stars as Kang Jae, a man who runs a service where employees act out whatever roles clients request.

With only a few hours left until the premiere, Ryu Jun Yeol and Jeon Do Yeon revealed the key points that viewers should be paying attention to.

One thing the viewers are highly anticipating is the emotional synergy between Boo Jung and Kang Jae. Boo Jung is a woman who has lost her reason to live after facing a downhill path of failures. She becomes someone invisible as she embraces trivial pain. Jeon Do Yeon will portray her devastation, anxiety, emptiness, loneliness, and unfamiliar excitement.

The actress shared, “This is a story that seems dark and heavy, but at some point, it becomes comforting and empathizing, and viewers might find their ‘selves’ in it. The current appearance of Boo Jung in the first episode will give hints about her past. Please sympathize with Boo Jung, and sometimes, be comforted by her. Watch what kind of person she is and how she has lived. In particular, the first meeting between Boo Jung and Kang Jae is also interesting. Please pay a lot of attention to ‘Lost’ that will premiere today.”

Ryu Jun Yeol’s character Kang Jae is a young man who struggles to be free from poverty by using various shortcuts. However, he realizes he is going up a steep uphill road without accomplishing anything.

The actor remarked, “The stories of characters other than Boo Jung and Kang jae were also interesting, so I enjoyed reading the scenario. Please keep an eye on what happens to them in the future.”

Then he added, “I hope the viewers don’t judge Kang Jae after seeing him for the first time. I think this is a drama that can warmly embrace the viewers’ loneliness and make them experience humanity. This fall, I hope viewers will be able to enjoy a long afterglow and be calmly touched with ‘Lost.'”

“Lost” premieres on September 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST. Check out a highlight reel here!
